Qt 4.5 & Qt Creator 1.0 Released

qt-logoTrolltech, company behind popular C++ programming toolkit  Qt announced  the availability of Qt 4.5 and Qt Creator 1.0

Qt Creator is a brand new and powerful IDE (Integrated Development Environment) for developing Qt application. Beside  Qt 4.5 and Qt Creator 1.0, Trolltech also provide Qt SDK for helping developer get in touch with Qt. Qt 4.5 release with a new licensing schema with  LGPL beside commercial and GPL license those available on previous edition.

Qt 4.5 and Qt Creator 1.0 available for download at http://www.qtsoftware.com/downloads. It seems the download server has too many download request because I got a low connection while trying to download the Qt for Linux from my hosting server. Please feel free to used torrent service if you wish another option for downloading or you have any difficulties for download from http.

The Qt SDK is a complete Qt development environment in a single binary package. Packages are available for Windows, Mac and Linux, with support for embedded development coming later this year. The Qt SDK is available under the LGPL license on the Qt Software website.

    I see QT 4.5 is in the buildservice now. I have heard a lot of good things about the new raster engine. Has it been enabled in the buildservice builds of Qt?

    Thank you for the info. Sorry, I haven’t tried it yet so I could not address your question. Actually, I always using Qt by manually installed it from .tar.gz file.
